My struggle throughout my ministry career has been balancing personal care taking with organizational/group administration. Organizations are made up of individuals who form groups and the dynamics of this create tensions that pastoral-member interests and organizational vision, mission and objectives must be navigated for the many and not a special-interest minority, especially cronyism or nepotism.
What ideas do you have concerning these assertions? Do you see any of this as rationale for what you’ve observed during your church sojourn?
